ধরি, প্রতি লটে x টাকা খরচ হচ্ছে Total cost  =  2x
১ম Lot এ number of dozen  =   $\frac{x}{300}$  ; দ্বিতীয়তে  =   $\frac{x}{500}$ 
Total dozen  =   $\frac{x}{300} + \frac{x}{500} = \frac{2}{315} x$ 
তাহলে total selling price  =   $\frac{2}{375} x \times 400 = \frac{32}{15} x$ 
তাহলে profit  =   $\frac{32}{15} x - x = \frac{2}{15} x$  [যদি selling - cost  =  negative তবে loss হতো]
তাহলে 2x টাকায় লাভ হয়  $\frac{2}{15} x$ 
⸫    1x    "    "   "   $\frac{2 x}{15 \times 2 x}$ 
"  100  "    "   "   $\frac{2 x \times 100}{15 \times 2 x}$ 
 =   $\frac{20}{3} = 6 \frac{2}{3}$
